Teresa McQueen: How Online Ordering is Making My Job Easier

Roadrunner Drywall Corp. was founded in 1977 by Mark and Bev Nuessle. Since then, the Phoenix-based firm has become one of the Southwest’s major drywall and paint companies, building a reputation for integrity and hard work throughout Arizona and Nevada.

Current markets include single-family, multifamily, custom homes and commercial work with major developers and homebuilders.

The company recently started ordering paint and supplies online. We asked Teresa McQueen, Field and Service Coordinator at Roadrunner Drywall, how it’s been going.

What were your reasons to try the Sherwin-Williams® PRO app and Buy Online service?

Our sales rep Bob Schmaltz mentioned that there was a new ordering system and asked if we would be interested in utilizing it for several orders to test its capacity to meet our company’s ordering needs. Being a company that embraces modernization, we readily accepted the challenge.

Were there any specific day-to-day challenges that you hoped that it would help solve?

Product-related questions are minimized with the capacity not only to look up products we are currently using, but also to more easily search through previous orders.

Is there a specific example of how ordering paint and supplies online helps you save time?

It definitely helps to be able to look up previous orders and reorder from there.

Would you recommend it to other painters?

I would certainly recommend this for its ease of use and ability to retain records more efficiently. It answers common product questions efficiently and gives everyone, experienced and beginner alike, the ability to be well informed and make decisions accordingly.
