Ask Your ProPartner™: What’s new in the ProMar® 200 line?

ProMar 200 Interior Latex is the go-to choice for many paint pros for a lot of reasons. One is the fact that this product just keeps getting better.

Always improving

At Sherwin-Williams, many hours of field testing, years of research and decades of experience go into developing coatings that are better for your business.

This constant innovation recently led to the development of ProMar 200 HP Zero VOC, engineered to deliver high-performance results while meeting a wide range of industry standards and certification programs. The zero-VOC formula meets MPI Standard, High Performance and X-Green™ categories, as well as UL GREENGUARD Gold Certification and LEED® emissions testing compliance.

ProMar 200 HP’s enhanced washability and stain resistance help maintain the original color when cleaning stains. Improved abrasion resistance ensures a durable finish in high-traffic areas with less burnishing. We recommend it when you need to meet high-performance requirements.

More options

Besides the HP product, there are several other excellent options. ProMar 200 Zero VOC Interior Latex continues to be the best-selling product in the line and is perfect for walls and trim. Not only does its zero-VOC formula meet the most stringent VOC requirements, it’s available in six sheens – flat, low sheen eg-shel, low gloss eg-shel, eg-shel, semi-gloss and gloss – and in all colors, including deep, vivid accents.

Typically used as a trim paint, ProMar 200 Interior Alkyd Enamel and ProMar 200 Interior Waterbased Acrylic-Alkyd are available in limited sheens and sold in limited markets. With less than 100 g/L VOCs, the Acrylic-Alkyd delivers the application and finish of an alkyd coating with the non-yellowing properties of an acrylic coating.
