Versatile and Inviting, Redend Point is the 2023 Sherwin-Williams Color of the Year

2 min read

Described as “a soulful blush-beige,” Redend Point SW 9081 (195-C4) is the Sherwin-Williams 2023 Color of the Year.

“In recent years, we’ve seen a shift toward an embracing of color as well as neutrals that are warmer than the grays and whites of the previous decade,” says Sue Wadden, director of color marketing at Sherwin-Williams.

“Homeowners are opting for warmer whites, beiges, pinks and browns. Redend Point is an earthy color, and its subtle pink undertones exude a feeling of warmth and exploration.”

Because it’s not overwhelmingly bright or too neutral, Redend Point also works well in commercial spaces such as offices.

“Using it on the wall behind a computer creates a nice balance for the eyes by lessening the strain from the blue light of the screen,” Wadden says. “The key to Redend Point is its unexpected versatility.”
