Careers in Painting: Free Website Helps Owners Find Employees and Painters Find Jobs

2 min read

Whether you’re an employer trying to grow your team or a job seeker looking for a new opportunity, Sherwin-Williams Careers in Painting – the painting industry’s first free job board – can help you find what you need.

“Sherwin-Williams knows finding jobs and finding employees are pain points for our customers,” says Francia Ordoñez, Manager of Marketing Communications Strategy for Sherwin-Williams. “We are saving our customers time, saving them money, and reducing hassles with the Careers in Painting website.”

When you register for an account, you can select whether you’re a job seeker or employer. Job seekers can post their resume and immediately start searching for jobs in their local area, while employers can post job listings and view resumes of painters in their area.

Gabby Torres, Marketing Director, Pro Contractor Programs at Sherwin-Williams, says the Careers in Painting (Job Board) serves as a resource to help solve the labor market challenges confronting the painting industry.

“This resource will enable employers to increase revenue by starting jobs quicker and completing them faster,” Torres says. “And job seekers will be able to identify opportunities for long term employment and have the ability to search for growth opportunities in this trade.”

Whether you’re an employer or a potential employee, the Careers in Painting job board is designed to help you connect to others in your field in a free and easy way. Save time and effort on recruiting, job hunting, and administrative tasks, so that you can spend more time doing what you love: painting!

“We’re creating a community within your community, but it will only work if we have active participation,” Ordoñez says. “Use this tool to your advantage and let us know how we can help!”

To get started today, register at jobs.paintprotraining.com. Employers can also follow our step-by-step guide to posting a job listing in your area.
